This plant is also know as Golden Dewdrop and Skyflower.

The ½"-¾" diameter flowers are blue/purple in color, with a white edge and a yellow throat. The flowers are eventually replaced by golden-orange berries. These plants flower year-round. Flowers and fruit are often found on the plant simultaneously and make an attractive show. Butterflies love the flowers. Birds love the berries.

This fast-growing, multistemmed shrub is often used as a background planting. It is also a popular bonsai specimen, as well has a hanging-basket plant.

They should be planted in full sun to part shade in rich, well-drained soil. Hardy in USDA Zones 9B-11.
