About Us

Who are we? Our names are Gwenn & Ray and we moved from NJ to PR in September 2003. We are both professionals who got tired of the 9-to-5 grind and cold winters in New Jersey. We decided to follow our love of tropical plants, SCUBA diving, and Caribbean islands ... So we sold almost everything, packed up our 3 dogs, and moved to Puerto Rico! We had an opportunity, and we took it! No day like today. We're doing stuff we love in a beautiful Caribbean atmosphere. What could be better? Maybe another Piña Colada!

But seriously ... We grow all of our own plants & seedlings, either by divisions we've done or seeds we've collected. Compare the size and health of our plants to anyone else's. We think you'll agree that we provide superior quality at an unbeatable price!

We believe in "what you see is what you get". That's why you'll always find accurate photos of all of our items. Oftentimes, the plant we ship to you is even better than the plant in the photo. Before we ship a plant, we ask ourselves "Is this plant of the size, health and quality that I would like to receive?" The plant only goes in the mail if the answer is "Yes"!
